Dog Breed: Schnauzer / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: 295.00. Meet Denki! Denki is the perfect companion you've always dreamed of! This one-year-old, 48-pound Schnauzer mix has a heart of gold. Although he's a bit shy at first, once you earn his trust, he'll be your loyal best friend. Denki gets along well with other dogs and is suitable for families with older, calmer children. He's well-behaved on a leash, crate-trained, and a calm, quiet boy who will thrive in a patient and loving family. To meet Denki, please fill out an application! Application available at .pawsofloverescue/adoption-application. Adoption donation includes spay/neuter, microchip, deworming, dhpp vaccinations, rabies shot, bordetella nose spray and any other necessary procedures prior to adoption. Dallas/Ft. Worth area Application available at .pawsofloverescue/adoption-application. Adoption fee of $295 includes neuter/spay, microchip, heartworm testing, deworming, vaccinations, and other necessary procedures. Applications without a phone number will not be processed. Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
