My absolute favorite thing in the entire world is to play with other dogs and/or toys. I am house broken and doggy door trained and love to adventure in the backyard chasing birds and squirrels. I do fantastic on a leash and really enjoy a walk anytime you are willing to take me! I sleep on my back all the time which I don’t think is odd but my foster mom thinks it is hilarious. I love belly rubs and to cuddle on the couch! When I first met my foster mom, I was very scared. I was found as a stray and was barely one year old. It definitely took my foster mom a lot of patience and time before I came out of my shell. I am proof though that if you can give me space to get comfortable with my new surroundings…along with a whole lot of love, then I promise to show you what a goofy, sweet, and loving member of your family I can be. I am prone to being more comfortable with females but my foster mom says I have definitely made progress in learning to trust men as well. I know I would thrive in a forever home with other dogs to play with! Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?
