Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). HERCULES - 1-5 years old, 75 pounds, active, jumpy, friendly Hercules is that dog whom everyone will turn their head to look at. Handsome as he is with his bright white fur which has two grey spots, one on the top of his head and the other at the base of his tail. He has deep dark eyes and a strong muscular body. Hercules was found as a stray so we only know so we are learning about him as we go. He is quiet as a mouse and sitting still as can be when in the kennel. When you open the kennel door, he comes to life jumping and excited, way excited, knowing he is getting out of that kennel. He pulls on the leash and what we have seen so far indicates he would be best as an only pet. Hercules is young and needs some training. He needs consistency, boundaries and reinforcement of these boundaries. A gentle leader can help with the pulling. Treats will help with training. Time and attention will help with the reinforcement. He is ready to find a new home with a new family who will be ready, willing and able to provide him with ample exercise and plenty of training (remember consistency!) to help him learn the boundaries and become a well behaved boy.
