Dog Breed: Dachshund (short coat). Adoption Fee: 200. Hi! I am Pirate Bailey or Bailey for short. My owner has passed away and now I am looking for a comfy spot to hang out! I enjoy a comfy bed and exploring outside. I would love to be adopted with one of my sisters if possible since I am missing one eye and have trouble seeing everything. I am a happy guy with a lot of love to give even though I am 13 years old. If you can be my forever home please apply today! Bailey is potty trained once he figures out the process to get to the potty location. He is vision impaired but moves around great once he knows his surroundings. Bailey is happy being crated and prefers to lay in there most of the time with a comfy blanket or bed. He has been tested with kids, cats, and dogs and seems to be unbothered by all of them. Bailey is intact and due to his age we are unable to neuter him safely so we will not be neutering him. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.
