Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Jet is an 1.5-year-old male Pit mix who must be neutered before adoption. After running around in a neighborhood for 10 days, City Animal Control brought him to PAHS. Obviously, no owner reclaimed him. Jet, named because he is fast, is gorgeous! He has a very light tan coat with a bit of white markings. He weighs 51 pounds so he is a large dog. Jet will need a patient owner who will work on his leash training with him. He is a bit timid and shy; and we believe he would be fine with older children. If you have another dog, we would require a meet and greet with you other dog to make sure they would get along with each other. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
