Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Terrier / Mixed. Classic time pieces are a thing of beauty. A watch can complete a look that will draw attention and make the person the talk of the town. Having a cute and adorable little munchkin named after a watch can bring you the same satisfaction all year long. At around 8 months old Movado is ready to step out into the limelight. He is a sweet and do not forget adorable terrier mix at just 54 pounds. Big things are in store for him and, of course as time goes on, he will grow in size. He is estimated to be a medium size boy of weighing somewhere up to 60 pounds when fully grown. Watch out for this boy, because you are sure to fall in love with him. His anticipation grows every minute, and his goals are crystal clear with dreams of finding a family to be all his. Movado knows how to dial up the fun with his medium energy level and puppy antics of exploration, play and adventure. He would enjoy company of all kinds as he does well with other dogs and children of all ages. It is unknown if he has met a cat. There are no strangers in his life because he is a best friend to everyone! A day full of adventure will need a bit of dialing down time so naps and cozy snuggles are always on the table for this boy. There is so much for Movado to learn, and he is going to take one day at a time as he learns manners. Daily walks will be a wonderful addition to his daily routine and will also provide lots of leash practice so Movado can master this skill. Time is of the essence when it comes to his house and crate training because he has perfected both skills. Movado is ready to blaze a trail with quartz movement precision and learn all that he can, so he can claim his crowning achievements. It is important to remember that although Movado is housetrained, accidents may still occur while he is adjusting to a new home environment. As with all puppies, Movado is full of curiosity and wonderment and is ready to grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog with the right guidance and patience. He will need a home with someone who has the time, desire and energy to train and socialize him so that he can become the perfect lifelong companion. This boy has style, charm and class above the rest. Take him home and join in on the movement of love and companionship. Movado has a genuine love that will stand the test of time. * When considering adoption, keep in mind that dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust much better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Movado is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
