Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Juice Box! Looking for a sweet, shy boy with a heart of gold? Say hello to Juice Box, a sweet puppy with the cutest cow-print coat and a perfectly speckled little nose that’ll melt you on the spot! Juice Box might be a little timid at first, but once he feels safe, his playful side shines through. His favorite things in life? Other dogs, treats, and wrestling with his furry friends! He’d love a home with a confident canine buddy to show him the ropes and help him feel brave. This gentle pup is a lover, not a fighter, and he’s happiest when surrounded by dog pals or snuggled up in a quiet spot. With a little patience and a lot of love (and maybe a few yummy snacks), Juice Box is sure to blossom into the loyal, fun companion you’ve been dreaming of. Juice Box is ready to find his forever family who’ll love him unconditionally—and give him plenty of treats along the way! He is neutered, dewormed, microchipped, current with all vaccines (as appropriate for his age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Juice Box is currently being fostered in South Carolina. ADOPT JUICE BOX!! .LuckyPupRescueSC The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
