Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. ⸻ Meet Madi – Your Gentle Grey Goddess! Also known as Maddie Paddy or Madders, this stunning female Cane Corso is as sweet as she is striking. With her sleek grey coat and soulful eyes, Madi turns heads wherever she goes — but it’s her affectionate nature and good manners that really steal hearts. Madi is crate -trained and housebroken, making her an easy addition to the right home. She walks beautifully on a leash and rides calmly in the car, ready for road trips or quick errands alike. Toys are her absolute favorite, and you’ll often find her happily entertaining herself or inviting you in for some playtime. Madi would thrive in a home with another large, male dog to keep her company. While she hasn’t been tested with toddlers, families with respectful children over five will be considered. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and low-key companion with just the right amount of playfulness, Madi might just be your perfect match. ⸻ Www.azmastiffrescue

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
