Description

Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Taz, the 12 year old pittie mix. Taz is a goofball who does not act her age. She still loves her walks paired with a sunbathing session afterwards. She lived with another dog previously. In the Shelter, Taz has demonstrated that she may prefer to be the only dog in her next home. Taz has a history living with being house trained and being someone’s indoor companion. Taz's adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to “Leave No One Behind fund” – designed to adopter’s eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelter’s care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
