Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog. Meet Manhattan – or Manny, as his friends call him! This sweet 1-year-old is 77 pounds of gentle soul and puppy charm. He is loving, affectionate, and cuddly, and although he has not met a lot of people, he wants to meet everyone with soft eye contact and low tail wag. Manny just joined our rescue two weeks ago and is already learning come and sit, with a treat of course! He thinks he’s too little to jump right in the back of an SUV but learned to walk up steps or a ramp into the car on his very first try! He loves car rides and rides nicely in the back of an SUV with his foster brother. Although he has no formal training, he walks nicely on a leash. Manny is very playful yet respectful with other dogs, both male and female. He loves his people, and he loves doggie companionship with another playful dog. Manny is crate trained, and house trained. If you're looking for a sweet buddy to go on adventures with and love forever, Manny is ready and waiting. Manhattan is a Level 2 dog.
