Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog. Meet Nala! Nala is a beautiful one-year-old female German Shepherd, born in February 2024. An owner surrender, she is an affectionate, energetic and intelligent young pup looking for a loving home where she has plenty of space to romp and play. Nala is housebroken and rides well in the car, making her a great companion for adventures. Like most young German Shepherds, she’s full of boundless energy and curiosity! For this reason, we think she would do best in a home with older children. Nala is protective and will alarm bark to let you know when something’s up. She also loves to chew, so she’ll need plenty of durable toys to keep her busy. However, she doesn’t dig—just a playful pup eager to learn and explore. With little formal training, Nala will need an owner with GSD experience so she blossoms into the best canine ever. Having lived with a pit-bull, she may just love having another playmate but is lacking socialization skills —that's where you come in. No cats for this girl! If you're looking for an energetic, affectionate, intelligent, and fun-loving companion, Nala might be the perfect addition to your family!
