He’s the kind of dog who may be a bit shy at first, but once he feels safe, his soft personality and gentle affection shine through. Charlie is intelligent, observant, and oh-so-sweet. He’s mostly potty trained and enjoys the comfort of routine and a calm environment. He’s a little reserved with new people until he understands they are safe. Charles is a sweet, treat-motivated pup who’s always ready to learn, especially if snacks are involved! He rides like a champ in the car, happily listening to podcasts or jamming out to music with his people. Charles is a good boy who takes redirection in stride, and when it’s playtime, he lights up—chasing toys, tossing them around, and having the best time. He’s most at ease with another dog around, as that’s what he’s used to and where he finds a little extra confidence. A doggy playmate would be a bonus for him, though he’d also do just fine as your one and only.
