Description
Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat). VIDA FEMALE 3 MONTHS 17LBS HOUND MIX These puppies came from a pound in Southern ,OH. The only information we have on them is that mom was 30 pounds, but they seem as they will be bigger than that - guessing 40/45 pounds? Crate trained,working on house breaking. Loves food ,attention, and toys! Loves to play with other dogs. We have not seen them around kids. This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered* appt Fri 5/16/25. They have also been given flea prevention. Adoption fee is $350.00. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics.
