Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Staffordshire Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Drogan is a handsome boy who is looking for a new home. Drogan is currently with one of our sister rescues in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Drogan is a volunteer favorite! He is friendly with all humans and very friendly with dogs. He was found tied up outside in a rare Louisiana blizzard and taken by animal control. In true pitty fashion, Drogan continues to love his friends, despite the neglect he suffered. Drogan is so dog friendly he is the tester at the shelter. If we find a foster, Drogan will be placed in foster in Louisiana for at least 2 weeks before transport to NJ. Drogan is fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He completed treatment for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
