Costello’s journey began in Georgia, where he was found as a stray alongside another dog, Abbott. The two were rescued by SNARR and went on to separate foster homes. Abbott has since found his forever family, and now it’s Costello’s turn to find the home he’s been waiting for. In foster care, Costello has been blossoming into the sweet, loyal, and affectionate dog he was always meant to be. He adores his people and bonds deeply—once you earn his trust, you’ll have a true best friend and devoted shadow by your side. He’s lovingly called a “Velcro dog,” always wanting to be nearby, whether curled up on the couch, stretched out for belly rubs, or quietly following you from room to room. Costello also enjoys the company of other dogs and feels happiest when he has a canine buddy around.
