Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Retriever / Mixed (short coat). This lovable looking teddy bear is as sweet as they come. After a life shake-up, Gabe’s thriving in his NJ foster home and is ready to find his forever people. Gabe is a pro-snuggler who loves quiet nights, belly rubs, and anything with peanut butter. He walks beautifully on a leash, knows lots of commands, is house-trained and crate-savvy. Basically, he's the full package! He’s friendly with other dogs, has lived peacefully with multiple cats, and greets new furry friends with a wag and a smile. Gabe would do best with older kids (10+) and may be a little shy around men at first — but with a little patience and reassurance, he warms up into a total lovebug. Gabe is fixed, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
