Bluebelle is a sweet and friendly beauty, who will gladly jump into your lap for some petting and affection. She loves to be in the yard, but also does well walking on a leash. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playing with her rescue pals. Bluebelle is a Shih Tzu, about 4 1/2 years old and 12 pounds. The Shih Tzu, affectionately known as the "lion dog," boasts an ancient and regal lineage, originating from the Tibetan plateau and further refined in imperial China. These charming canines are easily recognized by their striking appearance: a small, sturdy build, a distinctive undershot jaw, and a long, flowing double coat that often requires regular grooming to prevent matting.
