Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Milo – Your New Best Friend! Looking for a playful, affectionate, and downright adorable pup to join your family? Meet Milo, a 5-month-old bundle of joy who's ready to wiggle his way into your heart! Milo is the total puppy package—energetic, cuddly, and endlessly curious. He loves going for walks, exploring new places, and making friends (both human and furry!). Whether he's chasing a ball, chewing on his favorite toy, or snuggling up for some belly rubs, Milo brings pure joy to every moment. This sweet boy is great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and eager to meet new people with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. He’s already house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. He walks well on a leash and is quickly mastering the art of polite greetings! Milo would thrive in a family-friendly home—ideally with other pets to play with, kids to love on, and active humans who enjoy outdoor adventures. A secure yard would be a bonus for his zoomies and playtime! If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s equal parts fun and snuggles, Milo is your guy. Don’t wait—this happy pup is ready to find his forever home and give you all the tail wags, kisses, and puppy love you can handle. Adopt Milo and make every day a little brighter. Please note we do not usually adopt outside of San Diego County and surrounding areas.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
