Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Genesee County Dog - Bluey is an adult neutered male Pit Bull Terrier Mix. Meet Bluey. Not that silly cartoon Bluey, this real live one. This handsome boy is a strong, 61-pound love bug. He loves the volunteers he spends time with and will accept any and all pets they provide. So far, Bluey seems to like some of the other dogs (he mostly prefers the ladies). However, he would likely do best as the only pet in the home. Energetic most of the time, Bluey certainly knows how to relax and can often be found chewing on his favorite Nylabone. Bluey is currently at the Shelter. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
