Description
Dog Breed: Boxer / Rottweiler / Mixed. Josie is a young Boxer/Rottweiler/Staffy mix born on 3/25/25. Josie is currently kennel and potty training. Josie is very affectionate and would love to be your lap dog while she's still small. She loves to snuggle and loves to get attention from her humans. She is perfectly content chewing on a toy. Due to her age, Josie would do best in a home with children over 6 years of age. Josie will need an experienced dog owner to teach her a routine and manners. Josie is accepting applications now. The suggested adoption fee for Josie is $415. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ Inc. is a 501(c)3, non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption donation fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR will have been administered their age appropriate vaccines which may include DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already altered if of age, for those not of age, a voucher will be provided. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.

Breed overview

Overview:
The Boxweiler is a powerful and muscular dog whose origins come from rottweilers and boxers. Therefore, they have a strong drive to protect and please their families. They have a deep chest and a double layer coat with either fawn or brindle coloring. While all puppies have lots of energy, a full grown boxweiler is not a hyper dog and does not like to wander far from its family or home. It is alert and cautious around strangers, but friendly and goofy with family and friends. Proper socialization, like with any protective dog, is key.
