Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Meet Queso! He’s an adorable 10-12 month old, 9.5 lb Chihuahua mix with a longer body. We pulled him from an overcrowded shelter where he had less than 24 hrs to live… That’s wild because he is an amazing dog. Queso loves all people and is a cuddle bug. He’s nearly potty trained now and is crate trained. This little nugget is good with kids and other dogs and likes to play with them. He enjoys toys, walks, snuggling, and is fairly low maintenance. He’s ready to live the good life! He doesn't bark much unless the others in the house start it. Queso is neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, on preventatives, and ready to meet his forever family! His adoption donation is $415. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
