Dog Breed: Doberman Pinscher (short coat). Einstein is a 4-year-old male Doberman who must be neutered before adoption. He is an owner turn in because his energy level was too much for his elderly owner. Einstein has the typical black and tan markings of a pure bred Doberman; but his ears are not cropped and his tail is not docked. He weighs 98 pounds so he is an extra large dog. Einstein is beyond active. He would need a securely fenced yard where he can exercise; and he needs an owner who is experienced with large dogs. Einstein is house trained. He is so strong on a leash it takes a very strong person to manage him. We would recommend he be an only pet--no other dogs or cats in the home. We also recommend, due to his size and energy level, that he not be in a home with children. Einstein is a very handsome dog. He will be a challenge for his owner; and he needs an adopter who will be devoted to working with him. Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under "special needs" our dogs have screened heart worm negative.
