Description
Dog Breed: Shepherd / Mixed (short coat). Born in February 2025, Bobby Jo is a sweet Shepherd mix puppy with a fun-loving spirit and a chill personality (according to his foster mom!). He loves romping around the yard with his brother, then lounging on the deck to soak up some sunshine. Bobby Jo is doing great with potty training — he usually heads outside but occasionally uses a puppy pad when he forgets. He sleeps in his kennel with his brother and, while he may whine for a few minutes, he settles in quickly and snoozes peacefully until it’s potty time again. He gets along well with kids, cats, and small to medium-sized dogs. He’s also a great leash walker and enjoys curling up in the car for a nap during rides. Bobby Jo's favorite things include his kangaroo stuffy, stuffed pizza slice, and chasing tennis balls across the floor. If you’re looking for a playful yet laid-back pup to join your family, Bobby Jo is ready to meet you! Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
