Dog Breed: Collie (long coat). Born: October 13, 2024 Duffy is a sweet and sensitive young collie whose world recently changed when his beloved owner fell ill and could no longer care for him. Now, this beautiful boy is looking for a second chance at a loving, patient home. Duffy walks beautifully on a leash and has had some training—he knows a few commands and is eager to please. While he may be shy when first meeting new people, once he feels safe and secure, his true personality starts to shine through. Give him a little time, and you’ll see what a loyal and loving friend he can be. He's been around other dogs and even cats. He’s not destructive but does enjoy a good chew on a sturdy bone—who doesn’t? If you’re looking for a kind, gentle companion and you have a heart (and home) ready for a collie who just needs a little time to bloom, Duffy could be your perfect match. If you are interested in rescuing a collie, please complete this short adoption questionnaire. Our standard adoption fee is $450. This fee helps us to cover (and sometimes only partially cover) the expense of providing each dog with a Health Exam, Rabies/DHPP vaccines, Heartworm Test, Heartworm Preventative, Flea & Tick Protection, Microchip, Neuter/Spay, a Bath and any other medical needs.
