Dog Breed: Basenji / Mixed. Meet Cody - This adorable boy is Cody! He is 4 years old Basenji Dog and weighs only 20lbs! He is very cute, gentle, and quiet. He gets along very well with other dogs, cats, and kids. While he may be a little shy and timid to new people at first, once he warms up, he will happily follow you everywhere and come to you when you call his name. He is very polite and gently takes his treats, doesn’t distract furniture, doesn’t react to a doorbell, and overall, very well-mannered dog. He is house trained with regular potty break, walks great on a leash, and rides well in a car. He is making a great progress on crate training as well, and currently sleeping through the night at his foster’s home. The ideal family for Cody will be someone who understands his initial timidness and be patient with him until he warms up, because this good boy is totally worth it. He will also benefit from having another canine companion to play with and learn from.
