Meet Hugo, a playful young pup with a heart as big as his zoomies! Hugo is your classic puppy who’s still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered canine citizen. He’s got energy to burn and would thrive with an active family who can help him channel it into fun walks, games of fetch, and learning new tricks. He’s working hard on his puppy manners – yes, he sometimes counter-surfs and can be a little jumpy, but with consistent training and love, he’s making great progress. Hugo absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine playmate in his new home, but is not a requirement. He has some experience around cats and likes to chase a bit, so he could potentially live with a dog-savvy cat who doesn’t mind a bit of puppy curiosity. While Hugo isn’t the biggest fan of his kennel just yet, he’s improving every day. Truth be told, he'd prefer to be snuggled up next to his humans—or better yet, curled up in your bed! Hugo really enjoys going on walks so if you enjoy exploring the neighborhood or hitting a trail, Hugo will be right by your side, tail wagging with excitement.
