Dog Breed: Shepherd / Hound / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 600. Orbit is a curious, even-tempered, and playful puppy who’s ready to blast off into his forever home! This little explorer loves water, enjoys adventure, and has a wonderfully balanced personality for a young pup. He’s smart, adaptable, and eager to learn – the perfect “blank slate” for someone ready to guide him with love and training. Orbit is easy to care for, but like all puppies, he’s still learning the ropes and needs a home that will commit to helping him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. He’s crate-trained and only barks for a few minutes when settling in, then quiets right down. He does think chickens are fun to chase, but with some consistent guidance, he could absolutely learn appropriate behavior. With the right support, Orbit could thrive just about anywhere – city, country, or anything in between. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, a water playmate, or just a smart pup to love and train, Orbit is ready to be your loyal companion. Orbit is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 06/14/2025 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 4:30pm and 8pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Since they haven’t arrived yet, they are available exclusively through Ruff Start’s Foster to Adopt (FTA) Program. Click here to learn more about the FTA program. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start’s veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
