Description
Dog Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever / Shepherd / Mixed. Meet Kelce – The Shadow You’ve Always Wanted… and the Cuddle Buddy You Didn’t Know You Needed Kelce is a happy, easygoing young pup—around 7 to 8 months old—with a heart full of love and a tail that never quits. He’s one of those dogs who just wants to be with you, whether you’re heading out for a walk or settling in for a movie marathon. He’s eager to please and already doing well on a leash. He has plenty of playful energy to run around the yard or follow his best buddy Katie (who he adores and clearly sees as his role model), but Kelce also knows how to settle and relax when it’s time to wind down. He’s equal parts sidekick, trail buddy, and couch potato. Kelce is a true all-around good boy—one of those rare dogs who can fit into just about any lifestyle. He’d be a great match for a family, a couple, or anyone looking for a loyal, loving companion who will stick by your side through thick and thin. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
