Dog Breed: Catahoula Leopard Dog / Mixed (short coat). Jambalaya and her sister Creole were abandoned in a park in Louisiana with their siblings, but are now being fostered in NJ. At only 3 months, these two have proven how thankful they are for a second chance. Jambalaya is as affectionate as they come. She loves to give kisses and curl up in your lap with her sister on top. She is very treat-motivated, which makes her easy to train. She is already nailing basic commands, working on leash and house training, and doing amazing with crate training. She is having fewer accidents each day! Her favorite thing besides snuggles is toys; she loves playing tug a war with her sister. Although she could play forever, she knows how to settle down and is a pro napper. Jambalaya and her sister Creole can be adopted separately, but after seeing how close they are, it would be amazing if they could be adopted together. They are both good with dogs of all sizes, cats, and kids. Jambalaya would fit perfectly into any family! Jambalaya is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $550. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
