This sweet 3-year-old Beagle/Chihuahua mix is 20 pounds of pure love and playfulness! Stella is a total people-person (er… dog!) and adores getting attention from her humans. She may bark a bit when left alone, but she settles down quickly—especially if she has a cozy crate to hang out in. Stella is housebroken, crate-trained, and a superstar when it comes to playing fetch—she’ll happily chase a toy again and again with that adorable tail wagging! She’s also great with cats and would thrive in a home with another dog buddy to romp around with, as she loves to play! Squirrels, on the other hand… better watch out! While Greater Derry Humane Society does not require a fence for every dog, Stella would really like one so she can zoom around freely in a safe area. If you're looking for a fun, affectionate companion who’s always ready for a game or a cuddle, Stella might just be your perfect match! All pets adopted from GDHS are spayed or neutered, have vaccinations brought up to date, are on heartworm preventative (dogs), FIV/FELV tested (cats) and microchipped. The Greater Derry Humane Society does not have a physical shelter, and all visits are by appointment only.
