I'm Slater, a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a winning smile, a wagging tail, and a heart full of love (and maybe a little silliness too). I was found roaming near Somerset in Rockwall, but no one came to claim me—so now I'm on the hunt for a forever family who's ready for snuggles, strolls, and unconditional loyalty. I'm the perfect mix of laid-back and playful. Want a buddy for chill couch time? I'm your guy. Looking for a pal for weekend walks or backyard zoomies? Also me. I've got the good manners down and I'm working on earning my “Best Dog Ever” badge! I am, neutered, vaccinated & microchipped. I did test heartworm positive, BUT thanks to the amazing folks at Rockwall PAWS, my treatment will be covered at little to no cost to my new family! (How cool is that?!) My adoption fee is just $125, and I'm SO ready to bring joy, loyalty, and a whole lot of tail wags into your life. Let's make forever happen – I'm waiting with paws crossed! All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
