Dog Breed: Retriever / Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Jude Vega was born about March 7, 2025 and might top out in the 55-60 pound range. He appears to be a Lab mix, but it’s possible there are many other breeds in his heritage. He is from the Baja Vega region of Puerto Rico, and was rescued from the streets there. His foster mom loved him very much and a note from her will be included in Jude's health record. Jude loves humans and is wonderful with all the other dogs here! He will cuddle right up in your lap if you will let him and he is on the relaxed (and goofy) side and seldom barks which we love! He loves playing with toys, wading in the pond, and again he is all about his humans! He does well on a leash and is fine about car rides. The foster mom felt he is house trained, but with all these changes Joyful wants you to know there may be some work in that area. The Adoption Fee for this dog is $500.00_. Adoptions fees vary based on adoptability. In general our fees include spay/neuter, all age appropriate vaccines, Home Again micro-chipping & registration, worming & flea control - a "complete" pet. We accept CASH or Visa/Mastercard ONLY. Joyful Rescues has no funding except for our adoption fees and miscellaneous donations. Pet care and vet bills are expensive - you must be ready to take on this financial (as well as emotional) responsibility.
