Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 350.00. Meet Grogu – A 90-Pound Gentle Giant! G is a big, lovable softie who is almost 4 years old and ready to find a home to call his own. He’s great with other dogs, fully crate trained, and completely house trained. You can even leave him out during the day. G does have some medical needs that require daily medication, but he takes them like a champ. He’ll thrive in a home where he can be pampered and comfortable. One important note: G is allergic to cats, so a feline-free home is a must. He dreams of a cozy spot on the couch to snuggle, a pile of toys to chew on, and a family who’s ready to spoil him with love. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with a heart as big as his paws, G might just be your perfect match! All of our adoption fees include veterinary exam, age appropriate vaccines (up to date at time of adoption) spay/neuter, microchip and deworming. Puppies $550 Kittens $200 Adult fees vary, please message our page.

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
