Miss Carolina is a beautiful 4- to 5-year-old Plott Hound and Catahoula Leopard Dog mix with a heart as big as her sweet, soulful eyes. Found abandoned in a motel room, Carolina hasn’t let her past define her. Despite what she’s been through, she remains gentle, affectionate, and full of love to give. She’s a little shy at first, but once she knows you're a friend, she warms up quickly and enjoys quiet cuddles just as much as playful zoomies in the shelter play yard. Carolina is great with other dogs and would do well in a home with a canine companion or as your one-and-only best friend. This resilient girl is looking for a forever home where she can feel safe, cherished, and part of a family. Could that be with you? We think she is potty trained and will do fine in a kennel.
