Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Husky / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Dante, an incredibly smart and affectionate Shepherd/Husky mix. At only 1 1/2 years old and about 50 pounds Dante is still a baby with such incredible potential! Dante was originally purchased as a puppy by a family that had neither the time or space for him. He spent far too much of his young life being crated. Since coming to Rescue Ridge, we have been working diligently with Dante and have learned what an amazing dog he is! He is extremely smart and has learned many commands. This is a boy who loves to work and is clearly looking for leadership. He is also very sweet and loving and loves to be pet. He needs plenty of exercise, but when his needs are met he is content to lay by your feet. Dante is the kind of dog and that will thrive and blossom in the right home. We are confident that in a home with a yard and a dog savvy owner, Dante will be a wonderful loyal and loving companion. He may not have had the best start in life but he has his whole life ahead of him- let’s get this boy out of the kennel and into the kind of home he deserves!
