Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier / Mixed. ***DFW area only-No Exceptions*** Faith is a 10 weeks (as of 6/9/25) American Staffordshire Terrier mix puppy. She was adopted from a shelter at just 5 weeks of age but was relinquished to a different shelter shortly after because the owners discovered she was ill. Her second shelter initiated medical care for her and her foster mom saw their plea and brought her in to the Legacy Humane fold! Faith loves to be played with, enjoys belly rubs, and is very social. She really loves to have another dog to play with. She has made a wonderful recovery from being too sick to play to running and playing with enthusiasm. She has begun to follow her foster around the home. Puppies at this age will require patience and training to become the best pup they can be. Faith is working on potty training and, given a potty schedule, she does very well for her young age. Faith does well with kids old enough to understand puppy behavior (~8ys and up). She does well with other dogs and cats. Faith responds well to corrections from dogs and cats and curtails her behavior accordingly. She would do best in a home with a yard. Current weight 5.5 lbs Projected weight 45 lbs Crate trained We are requesting a donation of $325 for the adoption which includes her spay, three rounds of puppy vaccines, a rabies vaccine, microchip with registration, dewormer and a single dose of heartworm preventative. We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted.
