Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Bruce (aka “Honeybear” to his favorite volunteer). This big-hearted cuddle bug is just as sweet as his nickname suggests! Bruce lives for belly rubs, back scratches, and any chance to lean in for some human affection. He is a certified snuggle pro with a serious soft spot for treats and cozy companionship. Bruce recently enjoyed a relaxing day trip outside and showed that, with a calm setting, he can keep his cool and just take in the world. During yard time, he prefers to sunbathe like a baked potato – unless a volunteer shows up to deliver those beloved back scratches! Bruce has spent too long as a “frequent flyer” at the shelter, but he is more than ready for a fresh start. All he needs is a stable, loving home where he can feel safe and cherished. Bruce is 2.5-years-old and weighs 62 lbs. Schedule a visit at yoloshelter. Walk in hours 11-3 Friday and Saturday. Shelter is located at 2640 E Gibson Road, Woodland. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months). All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control.
