He was so severely matted, his hair full of burrs, he had to be shaved down. We discovered a hair tie through his tail that had to be surgically removed. To top it off, he is heart worm positive which requires harsh treatment. Despite all his troubles, his spirit remains unbroken. Matt is a sweet soul, radiating friendliness and gentleness to all he encounters. His loyalty knows no bounds, and he wants to be by his person. Matt is full of love and seeking a forever home where he can share his boundless affection and unwavering loyalty. Matt will require frequent grooming so he doesn't have to endure matts so tight, it pulls his skin. His heartworm treatment will be covered by the rescue and his new family will have to be committed to getting him to his vet appointments.
