Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Collie (short coat). Meet River! River is a 5-month-old pup who weighs about 35 pounds. We think he might be a Collie/Shepherd/Border Collie mix — and he’s every bit as wonderful as that sounds. River is a little shy when meeting new people, but once he warms up, his sweet and gentle personality shines through. He loves going for walks and is happiest when he’s around other dogs. He’s playful, social, and really blossoms with canine companionship. River would do best in a home with another friendly dog and people who will give him just a little time to settle in.
