Despite her pint size, she is a very athletic Chihuahua mix who is capable of entertaining physical feats. Her energy is matched with a loving personality that also loves to settle and cuddle. Lovelee is very protective and loyal but quickly acclimates to new people and animal friends. She seems quite brave in her willingness to protect her owner, but in reality she is a sweet and timid powderpuff. A country dog who thrives in wide open spaces, Lovelee runs to her heart’s delight, but she always keeps her house in sight and never strays into the road. Her joy comes from knowing she has a dependable lap to return to, which she loves just as much as a good run. She enjoys hopping up to say hello, settling in to nestle on a lap and, when the moment comes, quickly dashing off to protect her person from unwanted strangers. Lovelee is a very sweet and loving companion and will sleep under the covers if she is allowed. She is an excellent lap dog who loves to be held and caressed. She is leash-trained, enjoys taking walks and is very well-behaved. She has a curious and fun-loving nature, but will always stay close to the person walking her. She loves to play fetch with her toys every evening. As a people-oriented dog who gets along well with most dogs and cats, Lovelee needs a home where she can be close to her human - she thrives with personal attention. She gives sweet kisses and responds happily to affection and verbal praise. Lovelee is ready to be a best friend to a kind human who has the space for her to run free and can provide the security of a warm and loving lap. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready to be adopted!
