Description
Dog Breed: Cane Corso Mastiff. Keiva Meet Keiva – The Playful Cane Corso Pup! Located in Phoenix, AZ 12 weeks old | Female | Active | Looking for a committed forever home Keiva is a stunning, bouncy Cane Corso puppy with a whole lot of love—and energy—to give! At just 12 weeks old, she’s already showing her big personality. She’s playful, full of puppy zoomies, and curious about the world around her. Her original owner didn’t quite realize what life with a giant breed puppy entails—it’s basically like adding another toddler to the household, one who needs lots of structure, training, and love. Keiva is incredibly sweet and would thrive in a home with another playful dog who can help her burn off her puppy energy. She’ll need an owner committed to giving her the socialization and consistent training that a Cane Corso needs to grow into the amazing adult dog she’s meant to be. Breed experience is strongly preferred. The Cane Corso is a loyal, intelligent, and protective breed—but they aren’t for everyone. They require confident leadership, time, and continued training throughout their lives. If you’re ready for the journey of raising this beautiful girl and giving her the home and guidance she deserves, please fill out an online application at: .azmastiffrescue Keiva is ready to be your adventure buddy, cuddle monster, and best friend for life. Let’s find this sweet girl her forever home! Www.azmastiffrescue

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
