Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Meet Puppy Pearl – The Pint-Sized Savy Street Survivor Turned Social Butterfly! Allow us to introduce Pearl, a sassy little black Terrier mix puppy, about 10–12 weeks old, with more sparkle than a disco ball at a puppy prom! Found strutting the streets of Minneapolis like she owned the block, Pearl somehow survived all on her own until a kind-hearted United Doberman Rescue volunteer scooped her up, searched for days on end for her owners to no avail, finally and promised her a better life. And let’s be real—who loses a puppy and doesn’t even look for her?! That’s not the kind of human Pearl needs. This girl deserves someone who will obsessively show her baby pics, throw her birthday parties, post her pictures endlessly on Facebook and refer to themselves as her “momager.” Right now, Pearl is crashing at Ruffin Inn, our version of a temporary puppy hostel, where she’s living her best life playing with other puppies, learning some puppy etiquette and charming everyone with her snuggles, wiggles, and slightly dramatic puppy eyes. But she knows this is just a temporary pit stop on her road to greatness. What Pearl Needs: A foster home to start, where she can practice being spoiled. Ultimately, a forever home with people who love zoomies, squeaky toys, and unconditional loyalty. She’s had her first shots, and she’s ready to roll into someone’s heart and never leave. Pearl is a tiny comedian, a cuddle queen, and a total scene-stealer. If your lap is cold and your life is boring, Pearl is here to fix both. Currently: Boarding at Ruffin Inn Health: First shots done! Goal: Foster home → Forever home → World domination Ready to give this girl the future she deserves? Foster or adopt Pearl and become part of her glow-up story.✨ Apply now at .uniteddobermanrescue or slide into our DMs for more info. Pearl’s waiting—with her ears perked and her puppy breath ready. Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
