Dog Breed: Beagle / Hound / Mixed (short coat). Please contact Nicole (countryacresrescuegmail) for more information about this pet. River was dumped on a busy road in Dexter, MO. She was starved, filthy and covered in ticks when a sweet couple found her and took her in their home. The couple cared and housed River until they were able to find rescue, Country Acres Rescue has had River in our care since early June. River is a beagle X who is friendly with dogs, cats and would be wonderful with older children! She's a petit size, only about #25 and estimated to be about 1-year old.
