Dog Breed: German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Meet Jake! This handsome German Shepherd mix is a sweet and gentle soul who's still learning to trust the world around him. Jake is approximately 1 year old and was found off County Line Road in Rockwall on 06/09/2025 and never reclaimed. Jake may be a little shy at first, but with time, patience, and love, he begins to open up and show his loyal, loving nature. He's looking for a calm and understanding home where he can feel safe and continue to grow in confidence. If you're someone who believes in second chances and has a soft spot for the quiet ones, Jake just might be your perfect match. With your help, he'll blossom into the devoted companion he's meant to be. If you have another pet in the home, a meet and greet is encouraged to make sure they get along. Jake's adoption fee is $125 and that includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, basic boosters, and heartworm test. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
