Description

Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Boxer / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Bella, the brindle beauty! Bella previously lived with another dog (a German Shepherd) and loved to play with him and other dogs. She is very food motivated which will make positive reinforcement training a great way to bond and help Bella learn knew skills! She is also crate trained when her previous guardian went out of town. At the Shelter, Bella took some time to warm up to staff and volunteers. After a brief “getting to know you” period, Bella is affliative and soft. She would thrive in a quiet home where she will blossom and bond with her new guardian. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
