Adoption Fee: 300. *This animal is a part of our “Seniors for Seniors” program where we offer senior adopters an opportunity to adopt an eligible pet at a discounted fee.* Meet Marcie — a loyal little lady with a big heart and 14 years of love and memories spent by her mother’s side in sunny New Mexico. When her mom moved to Minnesota for memory care, Marcie came right along, ready for her next chapter. This classy senior gal enjoys the simple pleasures: leisurely strolls (especially if the grass is short and dry!), sunbathing on the patio, and being part of the action — as long as it doesn’t involve rain or soggy grass, thank you very much. Marcie has a bit of a queen bee streak and prefers to be in charge, but she’s gracefully adjusted to sharing the spotlight. While she’s not a lap dog, she is all about your company — happiest just hanging out near her people and soaking up the scene. A calm, social companion with plenty of personality, Marcie is ready to bring her quiet charm and gentle presence to her next loving home. Adopting a senior dog is like getting a vintage car – it comes with character, a few extra quirks, and might need a bit more maintenance. Expect occasional tune ups at the vet for oil changes (aka meds), and embrace the fact that those 'normal lumps and bumps' are just part of the well-earned charm package!
