Description
Dog Breed: Yellow Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Say hello to Anais—the only girl in a litter full of rowdy brothers, and trust us, she holds her own just fine! She may be the smallest, but this little doll has a big spirit and a playful spark that lights up the room. Her favorite wrestling buddy? Richard, of course—those two are quite the dynamic duo. Anais is just plain adorable. With her sweet little face and a perfect splash of white right on her forehead, she’ll have you falling in love at first sight. She’s curious and brave, always off on tiny adventures, exploring every nook and cranny she can find. But when it’s time to slow down, she’s a total cuddle bug—place her in your lap, give her some gentle pets, and she’ll melt into you like butter. Looking for a playful sweetheart who’s as spunky as she is snuggly? Anais is your girl. She’s growing quickly, but right now she’s still small enough to fit in the palm of your hand—and she’s ready to fill your heart. Don’t miss your chance to bring home this little wonder. Anais is ready to explore the world—with you!

Breed overview

Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
