Benny is nine-months-old as of late May '25, only about 18 lbs, came to us as a stray never reclaimed. his special need? He is absolutely scared to death of men! We have no idea why but he is petrified of men, so his best home will be one without men in it or who visit much at all. Big ask, yes, but there is a loving home out there for Benny. He is in a foster home and still barks at his foster dad when he comes in the door, but then settles down and likes him - even sleeps next to him at night. But, still no doubt he definitely is a ladies dog. Cute little guy and not going to be a big dog. Benny will also perhaps do better in a home with another dog. He is a very active boy and having another dog to play with might help his person a lot. He does great with dogs of all sizes and both sexes! DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
