Pet Description: Nyx is two-three years old, female, came to us as a stray never reclaimed. She weighs 56 lbs, loves cuddles and kisses and craves attention. She walks well on a leash, loves treats and has good recall. Her finders felt she was housetrained and she is good with other dogs (male & female) here in the Shelter and children. When Nyx came to us she tested positive for heartworms and has completed her treatment so ready for a home where she will be a part of the family, kept home safe and also kept on regular heartworm prevention so she never again has to have her health challenged by those nasty heartworms. DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100. This Adoption fee includes: mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your dog or puppy home with you; basic canine immunizations (DHPP-CPV & Bordatella Intranasal); de-wormings; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; heartworm test if over five months old; microchip from 24-Pet Watch; certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, and more. (If a dog is sponsored or has a waived or lower fee, that info will be provided at the point of adoption to the approved adopter).
