Description
Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Rat Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 450. Meet Kerry, the sweetest little Chihuahua with the most adorable underbite that will melt your heart! Kerry is an affectionate girl who loves nothing more than being in your lap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. She’s playful at times, but mostly, she’s all about cuddling and enjoying quiet moments with her favorite humans. Kerry can be a little shy and hesitant when meeting new people, but once she gets to know you, she warms up quickly and becomes your best friend. She’s also a wonderful nighttime snuggler and loves curling up with you for a peaceful night of sleep. Kerry is an intelligent girl, always eager to please, and she’s quick to learn and adapt to her surroundings. This sweet mama dog came to us with one puppy, and she was the most devoted mom. She took amazing care of her little one, and now she’s ready to find a home where she can enjoy all the love and pampering she deserves. Kerry may be a bit shy at first, but with patience and love, she will become a loyal, affectionate member of your family. If you're looking for a sweet, intelligent, and cuddly gal, Kerry is waiting to steal your heart! Kerry is from Texas. This pet is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is available through our Foster-to-Adopt (FTA) program. Activity must be restricted for several weeks during recovery. RSR will cover the full cost of treatment. RSR will provide heartworm preventatives until the retest is due. The adopter will be responsible for scheduling the retest and obtaining any follow-up prescriptions through their veterinarian. Click Here to learn more about heartworm disease.
